Skomlin Press publishes classic and contemporary literature in translation, novels and novellas from Poland, Switzerland, Russia, France and beyond, brought into English by translators who treat the work as their own rather than a service rendered.

The list favours books that reward rereading over books built for a single sitting: forgotten classics restored to print, and newer work chosen with the same standard.
